Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1462 meters / 4796 feet).

Drive Hours: 7/8 Hrs

After an early morning breakfast, we will start our scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi by local bus sharing with other people. It takes around 7/8 hours; reach to Syabrubesi after then we will stay overnight at Lodge.

 Day 02: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2450m / 8038 feet)

Trekking Hours: 6/7 Hrs

Region: Langtang Region

Today is our first-day journey, for the trip route, we will cross the Bhote Koshi River and Langtang Valley Khola after then we will follow the Langtang Valley Khola riverside through the lush green forest and terraced fields. We pass the delightful landscape, pine, and rhododendron forest, hills, and waterfalls, we trek continue ascending and descending reach to Pairo, this place has two hotels we can have just a few hours to break and have tea, again we will climb to the dense forest, a chance to see the including; Monkeys, Red panda, Musk deer, and many different kinds of wilds birds, we will enjoy with nature jungle, wilds animals then we continue to reach the Bamboo.  Day 03: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3560m / 11679 ft)

Trekking Hours: 6/7 Hrs

Today we will continue to walk along the riverside through a lush green landscape as we uphill through the pine and rhododendron forests. On the way, we will be able to see the white snow-capped peaks beckoning us forward. Finally, the narrow Langtang River valley widens out at Ghoda Tabela, where the small restaurant at there for lunch and tea break place. After we trek continue to pass the Thangshep village and reach Langtang Village overnight at Lodge.

 

 Day 04: Trek from Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m / 12696 ft)

Trekking Hours: 2/3 Hrs

Region: Langtang Region

Today will be our short and exciting day, after the breakfasts we trek and continue to our gradual ascent as we pass through the small deserted village and meadows. This valley offers an amazing panoramic mountains view of Langtang II, Langtang Lirung, Tserko Ri, Dorje Lakpa Himal, and many more white snow-capped mountains. The trekking route goes along the flat and gradually up and we will cross the suspension bridge then we will reach Kyanjin Gompa where we can explore the ancient Buddhist Monastery and Yak Cheese factory.

 Day 05: Exploration day at Kyanjin Gompa.

Hiking Hours: 6/7 Hrs

Region: Langtang Region

Today will be more an exciting day, we have two hiking places there, 1st Kyanjin Ri 2nd Tserko Ri, you will have to choose one, if we hike to Kyanjin Ri we will hike to ascend, it will take around 2/3 hours to reach the viewpoint of Kyanjin Ri and back to the hotel it will take around 1 hour, from there if the blue sky we will be able to catch the beautiful sunrise with mountain views of Langtang II, Langtang Lirung, Yala Peak, Dorje Lakpa and many more white snow-capped mountains.

Option No: 2 If we go hiking to Tserko Ri, we will ascend reach to Tserko Ri in 3/4 hours, and back to the hotel will take 2/3 hours. And When we arrived at the hotel we will have a lunch break after then we can go to explore the village, cheese factory, and ancient Buddhist monastery, back to the hotel.

Day 06: Kyanjin Gompa – Lama Hotel (2450m / 8038 ft).

Trekking Hours: 6/7 Hrs

Region: Langtang Region

After we enjoyed the explorations at Kyanjin village, we return down and beautiful valley. We go back the same route when we came through the Langtang village, Ghoda Table, and arrive at Lama Hotel overnight at Lodge.

 Day 07: Lama Hotel - Thulo Syabru (2170m / 7119 ft)

Trekking Hours: 5/6 Hrs

Region: Langtang Region

Today our journey will be descending to the bank of Langtang Valley Khola and crossing the beautiful waterfall. We walk along the way lush green forest of bamboo, patio, and terrace farms we will cross a suspension bridge to reach the Thulo Syabru village overnight at Lodge.

 Day 08: Thulo Syabru - Sing Gompa (3560m / 11679 ft)

Trekking Hours: 6/7 Hrs

Region: Langtang Region

Today from Thulo Syabru, we steeply uphill upwards, and we will walk on the dense forest and oak you may also be able chance to look at the rare red panda. Then after we pass the again pine and rhododendron forest and reach Sing Gompa overnight at Lodge.

Day 09: Sing Gompa - Gosaikunda Lake (4380m / 14370ft).

Trekking Hours: 6/7 Hrs

Today also we will enjoy with landscape and beautiful views of the mountains, we will climb uphill and walk in the pine forest, then we pass the Cholang pati, again we ascend to reach the lauribinayak, which is one of the most beautiful places, where we can rejoice the delightful sunrise and sunset view from there if the blue sky then we will be able to take a picture square of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Tibetan Peak, Langtang II, and Langtang Lirung and more mountains after then we trek continue to uphill and reach to Gosaikunda Overnight at Lodge.

Day 09: Exploration day at Gosaikunda Lake.

Today we will explore the Gosaikunda Lake, Gosaikunda lake has many lakes on there, likes; Gosaikunda, Saraswati Kunda, Bhirav Kunda, and Parbati Kunda, and many small lakes on there, after exploring the lake we back to the lodge.

 Day 10: Gosaikunda – Sing Gomp Sing Gompa (3560m / 11679 ft)

Trekking Hours: 5/6 Hrs

Region: Langtang Region

Early morning we will have breakfast, the after we trek descending to Lauribinayak La Pass, Cholang Pati, and trek continue to pine and rhododendron forest, where we can see the Red panda, Himalayan Thar, Mountains Goats, Musk deer, and many different kinds of animals. then after we will reach Sing Gompa we will stay overnight at Lodge.

 Day 11: Sing Gompa – Dunche Bazzar (1960m / 6430 ft).

Early morning we will have breakfast, after then we trek continue to downhill pass through the delightful village of Dimsa, Deurali and reach Dunche Bazaar, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu.

BEST TIME TO DO LANGTANG VALLEY TREK:

March – April – May (Spring Season):

This is the best time to do Langtang Valley Trek. The weather is very good throughout the trek. Spectacular views of Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang II, Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Langsisa Peak, Yala Peak, and many smaller white snow-capped mountains, etc.

The temperatures will be increasing from the middle of March and with blue skies, white-snow capped will be seen at their occasion. So many Travelers often succeed their climber in this time. June – July – August (Summer/Monsoon Season):

If you would like to do Langtang Valley Trek between June to August, it is summer/Monsoon Season. Summer Season Falls in the Month end of June to August. This time is the hottest and rainfalls with a variety of vegetation blossom during this season, the Valley will be green and different view than the spring and Autumn seasons. While you are going to travel, Summer Season you have to be more careful with trekking trails, it might be Muddy and Slippery. It will be regularly raining and hottest during this season.

The temperature during the days 15 to 25°C, will be getting colder at night and morning times, Temperature will be less than 8°C, and most of the morning time will see a blue sky with white snow-capped Mountains.

(September – October – November (Autumn Season):

Another best time to do the Langtang Valley Trek. This season is the peak for trekkers due to the good weather conditions. As monsoon season slowly ends, the best trekking climate sets itself. The temperature will be going up to 15 degrees in the daytime and, during the night time will be down to 3 to 5 degrees. This time is while travelers relax with natural views and culture. (December – January – February (Winter Season):

The winter season trek to Langtang Valley Trek is a famous season as the March – April – May to September – October – November. The places along the Langtang Valley Trek will be cold during the winter season but at that time will be an amazing trip. The accommodations during the trip, all accommodations are on the basic twin and sharing. Our local trekking guide team leader will be managing the beautiful common room. If possible he will try to manage the best room with attached bathrooms. About the attached bathrooms it’s very difficult to get in the Himalayas regions, most of the mountain areas have just a common room and we must share the toilet and bathroom with other clients. Single rooms are available in the lower altitude Himalayas regions. But it is not possible to get a single room in the higher elevations; you must share with other people.

Meals:

During the Langtang Valley Trek, all kinds of meals will be provided in the Langtang region, you can take pleasure in Nepalese traditional foods likes: Nepali Dal Bhat, and many typical foods are available in this region. Also, they have special menus; you can choose the many different kinds of European, Italian, Chinese, and Indian foods available during the journey. 

Breakfast:

You can choose by a menu of your breakfast: options such as French toast with (jam, Honey and Butter), muesli, Oatmeal, Corn Flakes, cereal, hash browns, any style of eggs you would like, Gurung Bread, Tibetan Bread with (jam, honey and Pea abutter), pancake, puffy, and round and tsampa porridge and chapatti with any kinds of Tea.

Lunch:

Dinner:

You can choose by the menu: a menu that’s similar to the options you had at lunch break time: Stews, Pizza, Thukpa, Fried Noodles, Noodle soup, macaroni, fried potatoes, fried rice, momo (dumplings), spring roll, Dal Bhat set, spaghetti and many much more items, etc.

Safe Drinking Water:

In the Langtang region, you will get normal water from the Tap or river. For this water you must use purification medicine or a filtering hand pump, also you get boiled and bottles of water are available at lodges. While you hiking in the mountain regions, you should drink normally 4 to 5 liters per day.

Acute Mountains Sickness (AMS) or altitude sickness is one of the risks even when traveling at high elevations. Ahead an altitude with a constant pace and good acclimatization days, it will be helping reduce the chances of getting AMS.
