Gosaikunda lake trek - 5 Days is one of the best short trips in the Langtang national park region. The Gosaikunda Lake Trek 5 Days Package is a beautiful adventure journey in the Langtang region that takes you north of Kathmandu valley from where you start trekking toward Gosaikunda Lake. It’s situated at 4380m from the sea level; it’s a pilgrimage site, which is visited by 1000 pilgrimages every year during the Janai Purnima. A pilgrimage takes only baths in the lake and prays for the betterment of their loved ones. This trek offers an amazing experience in the Nepal Himalayas.
Gosaikunda short trek begins with a scenic 7/8 Hour drive from Kathmandu to Dunche and overnight at the lodge. Future hiking starts as we reach uphill Sing Gompa, Cholangpati, Lauribinayak, and Gosaikunda. Detailed Itinerary of Gosaikunda Lake Trek – 5 Days
Day 01: Kathmandu – Dunche (1960metres/6,430feet)
Driving hours: 7/8 hrs approx
Region: Langtang Region
After early morning breakfast, we will start our scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dunche by local bus sharing with other people. It takes around 7/8 hours; reach to Dunche Bazar after then we will stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 02: Dunche – Sing Gompa (3330meters/10,925feet)
Trekking hours: 5/6 hrs approx
Region: Langtang Region
Today is our first-day journey, for the trip route, we will cross the Gosaikunda valley Khola after then we will be ascending to Dimsa and Deaurali, on the way where we chance to see the including; Monkeys, Red panda, Musk deer, and many different kinds of wilds birds, we will enjoy with nature jungle, wilds animals then we continue to reach Sing Gompa, we will stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 03: Sing Gompa – Gosaikunda (4380meters/14,370feet)
Trekking hours: 6/7 hrs approx
Region: Langtang Region
Today also we will enjoy with landscape and beautiful views of mountains, we will climb up the hill and walk in the pine forest, then we pass the Cholang Pati, again we ascend to reach the Lauri Binayak, is one of the most beautiful places, where we can rejoice the delightful sunrise and sunset view from there if the blue sky then we will be able to take a picture square of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Tibetan Peak, Langtang II, and Langtang Lirung and more mountains, after then we trek continue to uphill and reach to Gosaikunda Overnight at Lodge.
Day 04: Gosaikunda – Sing Gompa(3330meters/10,925feet)
Trekking hours: 6/7 hrs approx
Region: Langtang Region
Early morning we will have breakfast, then after we trek descending to Lauribinayak La Pass, where from there, if the sky is blu then, we will able to see the delightful panorama views of Mt, Manaslu, Annapurna range, Ganesh Himal, Tibet Peak, Langtang II, Langtang Lirung and many more, after, then we trek downhill to Cholangpat and reach to Sing Gompa, we will stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 05: Sing Gompa – Dunche Bazzar (1960metres/6,430feet)
Trekking hours: 4/5 hrs approx
Region: Langtang Region
After our delicious breakfast, we will start our trek passing the Deaurali and Dimsa village and walking in the pine and rhododendron forest, where we can see the wild animals likes; Red Panda, White and Brown Monkey, Musk deer, and many different kinds of animals, we trek continue to downhill to reach the Dunche Bazaar, we will stay overnight at Lodge.
Day 06: Dunche to Kathmandu by bus.

BEST TIME TO DO GOSAIKUNDA LAKE TREK :
• March – April – May (Spring Season).
This is the best time to do Gosaikunda Lake Trek. The weather is very good throughout the trek. Spectacular views of Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang II, Langtang Lirung, Surya Kunda Peak, and many smaller white snow-capped mountains, etc.
The temperatures will be increasing from the middle of March and with blue skies, white-snow capped will be seen at their occasion. So many Travelers often succeed their climber in this time. On the way trip, the Nepalese National flowers will blossom likes; red, white, and pink colors with luscious green and dense forest.
• June – July – August (Summer/Monsoon Season).
If you would like to do Gosaikunda Lake Trek between June to August, it is summer/Monsoon Season. Summer Season Falls from the Month-end of June to August. This time is the hottest and rainfalls with a variety of vegetation blossom during this season, the Valley will be a green and different view than the spring and Autumn seasons. While you are going to travel during, Summer Season you have to be more careful with trekking trails, it might be Muddy and Slippery. It will regularly rain and hottest during this season.
The temperature during the days 15 to 25°C, will be getting colder nights and morning times, the Temperature will be less than 8°C, and most of the morning time will see a blue sky with white snow-capped Mountains.
(September – October – November (Autumn Season):

If possible he will try to manage the best room with attached bathrooms. About the attached bathrooms it’s very difficult to get in the Himalayas regions, most of the mountain areas have just a common room and we must share the toilet and bathroom with other clients. The single rooms are available in the lower altitude Himalayas regions. But it is not possible to get a single room in the higher elevations; you must share with other people.
Meals:
As we as during the Gosaikunda Lake Trek, all kinds of meals will be provided in the Langtang region, you can take pleasure in Nepalese traditional foods likes: Nepali Dal Bhat and many typical foods are available in this region. You can choose by the menu: a menu that’s similar to the options you had at lunch break time: Stews, Pizza, Thukpa, Fried Noodles, Noodle soup, macaroni, fried potatoes, fried rice, momo (dumplings), spring roll, Dal Bhat set, spaghetti and many much more items, etc.
Safe Drinking water:
In the Everest region, you will get normal water from the Tap or river. For this water you must use purification medicine or a filtering hand pump, also you get boiled and a bottle of water is available at lodges. While you hiking in the mountains regions, you should drink normally 4 to 5 liters per day.
