Kathmandu to Syabrubesi Journey Route:

 

The Kathmandu to Syabrubesi journey route combines pitch highway roads and bumpy off-roads. When you start from Kathmandu, the good pitch road, and after passing the Trishuli town, roads are rough and off roads. It will take around 7 to 8 hours to reach the Syabrubesi from Kathmandu.

 

You’ll travel on the Prithivi Highway until you reach Galchhi. After that, you will start traveling on the road following the bank of the Trishuli River. It takes around 5 to 6 hours to reach the Syabrubesi from Galchhi. During the journey, you will see eye-catching mountain views while passing the traditional villages.

 

Syabrubesi is a small town in the Langtang National Park. It is just 122 km from Kathmandu and the most popular place for trekkers in the Langtang Region—lush green hills surrounding the Himalayas, at an altitude from 1560 to 3870 meters. Syabrubesi is the gateway to the Langtang Region trekking.

 

During the Tamang Heritage and Langtang trek, you can see the white snow-capped peaks of Langtang II, Langtang Lirung, Dorjelakpa, Yala Peak, and many other mountain vistas.  

 

Kathmandu to Syabrubesi by Local Bus:

 

The 1st option to reach Syabrubesi from Kathmandu is by Local Bus. The Kathmandu to Syabrubesi Bus ticket price is around NPR 1, 000 to 1200 per head. You can purchase a local bus ticket at the Machhaporkahi New Bus Park. However, it is not luxurious travel. But, who wants to experience it with local people? It might be more fun and enjoyable during the journey.

 

The Bus from Machhapokahri Kathmandu to Syabrubesi departure time starts from 6:00 to 8:00 Am every morning. However, you must wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. It will take around 7 to 8 Hours to reach Syabrubesi by local Bus. 

 

Kathmandu to Syabrubesi by Sharing or Private Jeep Cost:

 

If you want another way of traveling to Syabrubesi by sharing or a Private jeep, it is possible. Sharing a Jeep costs U$D 14 per person, and if you want to take a private Jeep, a Private Jeep costs will be around U$D 180 to 220

Day 04: Trek from Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870 meters / 12696 feet) 2 – 3 Hours walking

Day 05: Hiking Day.

Day 06: Kyanjin Gompa – Lama Hotel (2450 meters / 8,038 feet) 6 – 7 Hours walking

Day 07: Lama Hotel - Syabrubesi (1462 meters / 4796 feet) 4 – 5 Hours walking

Day 08: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1462 meters / 4796 feet) 7 – 8 Hours

Day 02: Syabrubesi – Gatlang Village (2238 meters/7,342feet) 6 – 7 Hours walking

Day 03: Gatlang Village – Tatopani Village (2607 meters/8,553feet) 5 – 6 Hours walking

Day 04: Tatopani Village – Thuman Village (2338 meters/7,670feet) 6 – 7 Hours walking

Day 05: Thuman – Bridim Village (2229 meters/7,312feet) 5 – 6 Hours walking

Day 06: Bridim Village – Syabrubesi 1462 meters/4,796 feet) 3 – 4 Hours walking

Day 07: Drive Back to Kathmandu
