Langtang Valley trek from Kathmandu

Langtang Valley Trek is one of the most famous trekking destinations in Nepal. It is close to the capital city of Kathmandu valley and the most remarkable fact is that the region is possible to explore without any issue of flights being canceled due to bad weather conditions. Langtang Valley Trekking

The Langtang Valley Trekking is the most famous short trip in the Langtang region of Nepal. Tamang Heritage Trail Trekking

The Tamang Heritage Trail trek is one of the best trekking trails, where you can explore ancient Buddhist monasteries and typical villages like Gatlang, Chilime, Tatopani, Thuman, and Bridim Ghaun. This trek offers diverse landscapes and breathtaking Himalaya’s ranges etc.  

Gosaikunda Lake Trekking

The Gosaikunda Lake trekking begins from the Dunche Bazaar, after the trek continues to Deurali, Dimsa, and Sing Gompa, where you can explore the cheese factory and test local yak cheese there. After overnighting there, early in the morning you can have breakfast and trek to Cholang Pati, Lauribinayak, and reach Gosaikunda Lake. The Gosaikunda Lake is one of the beautiful lakes in the Langtang Region.

Ganja La Pass Trekking

The Ganja La passes trekking stars from the Syabrubesi, where you can drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi for around 7 to 8 hours by local bus. The next day early in the morning you can start your journey, walking along the Langtang Valley riverside and reaching Pairo, Bamboo, Lama Hotel, Godatabela, Langtang village, and Kyani Gompa, where you can visit to Buddhist monastery and cheese factory there. After a night in Kyanjin Gompa, you will trek through the Ganja La Phedi and cross the Ganja La pass.

Helambu Circuit Trekking

The Helambu Circuit Trekking is very close to Kathmandu Valley, where you have to drive half an hour by car or taxi from Thamel Kathmandu Nepal. The trek begins at Sundarijal and continues to Chispani, Kustumsang, Tharepati, Melamchi Gaun, Sermathang, and Melamchi Bazaar. This is one of the unique trekking trails in the Helambu circuit regions, where you can discover the typical culture of Hyalmo and your language. You will feel the diversity, after enjoying the Helambu trekking you drive back to Kathmandu. 

When is the best time to trek in the Langtang Region?

The best time to trek to the Langtang region is the autumn and spring. The worst time is when the summer season starts from June to August. This generality does not allow for the peculiarities of individual treks. Some people claim that the undeniable difficulties of trekking during the monsoon are outweighed by the essential nonattendance of western trekkers.

Autumn season (September, October and November)

The months of September to November are the best time for trekking in Nepal; it offers the greatest weather for trekking around the Himalayas region of Nepal. The skies are blue and crystal clear, the Himalayas scenery is magical, and the weather is still comfortable and warm.

Winter Season (December, January and February)

December, January, and February are still good months for trekking in Nepal but are too cold and freezing on the trekking trail. Even though the Langtang region trekking is always encouraging the risk of high altitude sickness and tough too.

Spring season (March, April and May)

Another good time to trek in Nepal is from March to May, the weather is blue skies with mild temperatures, and you are able to see the magical Himalayas ranges during the trekking.
