The accommodation services are basic with room beds, mattresses, bed covers, blankets, and pillows. The toilet and washroom must be shared with other trekkers. Moreover, the hotel owner provides Wi-Fi and a hot shower, but the cost will be extra.

Foods

During your trip, you will have the chance to take pleasure in a wide range of culinary delights. The owner of the lodge offers both Nepalese and continental foods, providing a delicious local taste. A famous choice among the Nepalese local foods is Dal Bhat, which comes from rice, lentil soup, vegetables, Curry, and pickles. Not only is this meal nutritious, but it also leaves you fulfilled. Dal Bhat is served for dinner and lunch; nonetheless, if you favor something different, the teahouse offers options such as Pizza, Spaghetti, Noodles, pasta, fried potatoes, or other items.

You can have breakfast at the lodges with several choices to start your day. You can taste oat porridge, muesli, pancakes, bread, soup, and chapatti with an omelet or any meal you get at teahouses. Fabulous experience, Himalayan local guide took care of everything! My friend and I recently hired a guide for the ABC trek and it was an incredible experience. The company organized all the permits and bus tickets, and were always easy to contact and quick to respond. Our guide was from near Kathmandu but had done the trek a good few times before, and made our journey very smooth and easy. He did all the ordering and accommodation sorting, and was very sweet, patient, and helpful, carrying some of my things when I was struggling with the altitude. He pointed out the different mountains and villages and did his best to answer our other questions about the region with the English he had. Would 100% recommend for a professional, easygoing guide, though if you’re looking for more in-depth knowledge about the region/history/nature, I would be explicit about this when booking!
