Kathmandu to Lukla:
Flight; from Kathmandu to Lukla is one of the most popular among travelers/trekkers because of the short runway; and the height of the airport. If; the flight is from Kathmandu Airport. Then you will leave the hotel one hour before the flight departure time.
Flight from Ramechhap (Manthali Airport) to Lukla, during the peak season time most of the flights will take from Ramechhap to Lukla; due to the airport as per the air traffic. If; the Lukla flight from Ramechhap airport, then you must leave the Hotel around 2:00 Am to 3:00 Am to reach the airport on time to catch the flight; at Ramechhap airport, you have to drive 4 to 5 hours away from Kathmandu. Which; takes around 25 minutes flight to Lukla.
Nowadays, Mandatory takes a guide to Everest Base Camp journey, but; the Nepal Tourism Board decided in (March 2023), that all trekkers visit Nepal. Will; required to hire a guide or porter before trekking. However, the municipality under whose jurisdiction the Everest area falls subsequently decided not to comply with this decision and that solo trekkers are still allowed in the Everest region.

Early morning flight to Lukla (2810m/9219feet). which takes around 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, is the main junction of trekkers where we meet the rest of our team in Lukla and start our trekking from there. We walk along the way and pass through the delightful village of Cheplung village, Ghat, and Phading Village (2610m/8,562feet), overnight at Lodge.
After breakfast, we start our trek passing through a delightful pine forest. We trek; continue to walk on the trail that; goes north up the Benkar. We cross the suspension bridge and pass Chumoa and Monjo villages before reaching the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park. After crossing a suspension bridge again, we pass the Jorsale village and walk alongside the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi Rivers. We ascend on a steep trail and reach Namche Bazaar (3441m/11,289 feet). It is most likely the biggest town in the Khumbu region, Overnight at Lodge.
After breakfast, we hike to Everest View Hotel. In the first part, we ascend on a steep trail and reach Everest Hotel. From there is the blue sky. We will; be able to see the delightful mountain views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhoste, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusumkangaru, and many more mountains view, etc. Then after we go to explore the Khumjung Village, this village one of the most beautiful colorful rooftop houses, and we explore the Sir Edmund Hillary school while finishing it. We back down to Namche Bazaar and Overnight at Lodge.
From Namche Bazaar, we ascend on a steep trail. After then, the trek until Phunki is an easy walk. From there, we ascend towards Tengboche village. Which; is one of the famous Tengboche monasteries because of the biggest monastery in the Khumbu region. It is; located within the Sagarmatha National Park. Which; is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The beautiful panoramic view of the mountains Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Thamserku. The monastery will be opening; around 4:00 pm; if we reach there on time. We can go to see the Buddhist religious ceremony. Overnight at Tengboche.
From the Tengboche Monastery village, our trail descends and passes through lush pine and rhododendron forests, when trekking we can think highly of good views of the Top of the world’s highest Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. We continue; to Pangbuche, Somare, and reach Dingbuche Village. Overnight at Lodge.
After the beautiful breakfast, the second acclimatization day is taking on Dingbuche. Besides the acclimatization day, we also climb a few hundred meters to the top of Nagarjun. Which; needed to be claimed to check our health conditions and strength before we continue to the EBC. The short acclimatization to Nagarjun. It will make helpful to your physical fitness. It’s quite a steep and rocky track, but the views become; much more delightful.
After breakfast, we start our journey. The day with a gradual climb to Thukla. Then, our trail goes; quite a steep climb up to the ridge at the top of Chukpo Lari. Where can find out the line of memorials in tribute to the climbers who have died on Mt. Everest expeditions since starting? After, Our trail goes for a short gradual walk bringing us to Labuche. Overnight at Lodge.
Today is a more exciting and; hard day. From Labuche, the trail leads to a flat meadow. When following the Khumbu Glacier and shot climbing up. After, the trail goes into the lateral moraine of Khumbu Glacier to Gorakshep. It offers a beautiful view of the massive Khumbu Glacier and Trans Himalayas. When we reach Gorakshep, We take off the bag pack at the hotel, and we can have a Lunch Break. After then we will go hiking at the Everest Base Camp. It takes around to go and back 4/5 Hours, and back to Gorakshep overnight at Lodge.
Wake up early morning. After, we hike to Kalapather for sunrise and mountain view. We have to climb uphill, which takes around 2 hours, and if the good weather. We will be able to; see the beautiful sunrise views with all the panoramic Himalayas views from Kalapather. When we enjoy nature, then we back down to the same hotel. We can have breakfast. We trek continue; to downhill Pheriche. Overnight; at Lodge.
Our trail leads descending passes through the beautiful local sherpa villages. We follow the bank into the Dudh Kosi River. Then after Somare, Pangbuche, Dingbuche, and reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight; at Lodge.
The trail descended the steep section back to the same way as we crossed Jorsalle, Manjo, Benkar, and Phakding; some of the small villages of the way reach; Lukla overnight at Lodge.
Early Morning we fly back to Kathmandu.

How hard; is the EBC trek?
This trek is a difficult and moderate trekking destination in the Nepal Himalayas. This trek requires a minimum of 10 to 12 days from Kathmandu; However, this trek does not need prior trekking experience. It is recommended that the trekker must be physically fit.
Do you arrange solo Trek?
Yes, we arranged the solo traveler also; if you are a solo trekker, Do not worry, I will provide you best guide, and you can do the trek easily.
Can I use the Credit card during the Everest Route?
You can use a credit card in several places such as Lukla and Namche Bazaar; in other areas, you must pay in cash.
May I drink river and tap water?
We do not recommend drinking direct river and tap water on the trek, but you have an option; you can use a purified tablet or filtering. The teahouse will provide boiled drinking water. The bottles of mineral water are; available during the trek.
How many kilograms, the porter will carry our luggage?
(2 trekkers for 1 porter). Maximum your porter; will carry your luggage around 2okg to 25kg.
What is the highest point of the Trek?
The main highest point of this trek is 5545 meters.
Do I need to buy travel insurance for the EBC trek?
Yes, travel insurance is compulsory for Everest region treks; before you buy travel insurance, ensure that it covers the emergency helicopter rescue and medical expenses.
Choose the best time to do an EBC trek in Nepal, the spring and autumn. During these times, it is generally more stable, making it safe and easy for travelers/trekkers to find the way to the demanding trip.
I. Spring Season (March – April to May): this is the peak trek season for EBC. The weather is kind, with warmer temperatures and clear blue skies. The landscapes are verdant and colorful due to the blooming Nepalese National flowers of rhododendrons, which are in red, pink, and white colors. However, there can be lots of trekkers. So it’s advisable to make a reservation in advance.
II. Autumn Season (September – October to November): Another best time to explore the Everest region trekking is during the autumn season. The climate is generally dry and clear, offering outstanding visibility of the stunning Mountains. The temperatures are Cooler, mainly at higher elevations, but the days are usually sunny and enjoyable. Like spring, this time tends to be busy.
