Our trek to E.B.C, after landing at Tenzing Hillary Airport Lukla heading to Phakding, Village is going to the exhilarating as it will be our first day of the trek. After our beautiful and scenic 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, we will start our journeys through the delightful villages of Chaurikharka and descend towards Ghat village, then trek to continue to reach the Phakding. Early morning breakfast, then after, we will trek along the northern bank of the Dudh Koshi River side with the beautiful views. We pass the villages of Tokto, Benkar, and Monju as a checkpoint. We will cross the suspension bridge, and reach Jorsalle Village, passing through the delightful riverside with pine forest then ascend and ramble on the pine forest and reach Namche Bazar Overnight at the Lodge.
After breakfast, we will be hiking to the Everest View Hotel. 1st part we have to ascend to reach the viewpoint. If the skies are blue, we can see delightful mountain views such as; Mt. Everest, Nupste, Lhoste, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusumkangaru, and many more mountains. After that, we will visit the Khumjung village one of the colorful villages in the Khumbu region, explore the Sir Edmund Hillary School, ancient Buddhist monastery, and back to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at the same place.
Today our journey will be more exciting and chance to see the magnificent Himalayas view the top of the world’s highest peak Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku on the way to Tengboche. The trail goes up and down making the trek not easy but we’ll be getting a vast view of the Himalayas as well as we will be chances to see the wildlife animals on the way such; as Himalaya Thar, musk deer, Nepalese National birds of Pheasant and many more and our future trek down, passing through the dense pine forests, after then we will reach to lunch place we called Phunki Thanga. Today is a short and easy day. After breakfast, we will start our journey. first, we walk downhill follow the riverside, and cross the wood bridge. Then, we will hike uphill to reach the panbuche Village. We will have lunch break, after lunch break. We will visit the Pangbuche Monastery and village, where we can enjoy with and return to the Hotel, and stay overnight at the Lodge.
After Breakfast, we will hike to Ama Dablam Base Camp, which takes around 6 to 7 hours to go and back. When we reach Ama Dablam Base Camp, we will spend a few hours there to take pictures and enjoy nature, after we return to Pangbuche, we will spend overnight at the Lodge
We have another long day trek, walking along the way down hills and passing through the beautiful villages of Tengboche, again downhill and Namche Bazar overnight at Lodge.
Today is our final day of trekking in the Khumbu region; we will trek back down to Lukla. We will return the same way that we had used before going to trek, from this direction, the views will be different before entering. We trek downhill Jorsalle, Monju, Benkar, Tokto, Phakding, Ghat, and Chaurikharka, and reach Lukla overnight at Lodge.
If the weather conditions are good at Lukla and Kathmandu, I am 100% sure we will fly back to Kathmandu. It takes around 35 minutes to fly back to Kathmandu. Accommodation in Kathmandu, you may choose for yourself, Thamel has many categories of Hotel such as 3-star to 5-star Hotel are available, or if you want to stay at a normal Hotel or Hostels also available. You can search on Google if you do not have an idea then, just you can tell me. What kinds of categories of hotels are needed, I will recommend them to you.
During the trek, your accommodation options are lodges-to-lodges. So, the tea houses are basic and clean and provide a comfortable room for an overnight.
In Kathmandu, your package is not included, typically you can take meals yourself. Moreover, in the trekking route, the guide will provide full board meals and may choose from the menu offering local Sherpa and European cuisines are available.
Note: we highly recommend sticking to vegetarian meals, while you arrive in Kathmandu and till the end of your trip. You'll get the various meat items along the trek route, however, it might not be fresh.
On your flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the total luggage weight allowed is 15kg, combining checked and hand-carry baggage. Ensure you pack approximately 9 to 10 kg in your checking luggage and 4 to 5 kg in your hand-carry bag. If you have unnecessary things and you do not need the trek, then you can store them in Kathmandu, at your hotel, or my office.
Along the trekking route and at your teahouses, Bottles of water are available. However, it is an expensive price for a bottle of water. We suggest you bring a filtering pump for water, or you can use a purification tablet for safe drinking water. Normally, you can drink 3 to 4 liters a day.
During the Everest region trekking, most places have electricity and solar power, so you can charge your camera battery and Phone. However, they charge some extra cost. We recommend that you bring a power bank.
Mostly, the teahouse has access to internet services like Wi-Fi, you can connect and talk with family groups or any emergency cases, but they will charge some NPR costs.
Along the trekking trails there are no Bank and ATM services, so you must take some NPR rupees for expenses such as Wi-Fi, charging, hot shower, and Tea, Coffee, beers, whiskey, and Laundry services. We recommend carrying about the NPR 20,000 to 30,000. Which is around 150 to 200 Dollars.
For every two travelers, we will provide a porter and professional trekking guide, who has a government license holder guide and speaks a well-known English language, he is familiar and helpful. The luggage, you must share between a maximum of 10 kg each trekker as a porter carries a maximum of 20kg.
Our Nepali culture assents tipping, but it is at the trekker's depends. The amount must reflect the worth of the service received. We advise you to tip collectively at the end of your trekking.
