Manaslu Tsum valley trekking Itinerary takes you into the glorious environment of the Boudha Himal ranges, Ganesh Himal ranges, Sringi Himal, Manaslu Himal, Samdo peak, and many more, etc. the main trekking route starts from Arughat Bazaar or Soti Khola village and we following the Budhi Gandaki river valley and dense forest, terraced filed and hill settlement passes the beautiful villages of Soti Khola, Machhi Khola, Tatopani, Jagat, Philim village. As we leave the main Manaslu trail from Lokpa for Tsum valley. Suddenly we get a feeling of entering the main truly into the hidden and gem valley while on the trek we also pass through the pine forests, and freezing rivers, and we also visit the several very old Buddhist Gompas of the region including the Milerapas cave, Rachen Gompa, mu gompa among others. After the Tsum valley trek, we have to come back the same path down a hill and cross the bright join path of Manaslu trek with Manaslu base cam camp Manaslu circuit Larke la pass trek and end at Dharapani Annapurna Himalayan region.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m/4,429feet).
Our company staff will come to pick up you at Tribhuvan international airport, our guide will be to stand up your name on paper it will be easy to know each other, at the airport terminal gate. He will take you to your hotel by car or van depending on the group size.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing.
Our local tour guide and car driver will come to pick up you at your hotel to Boudhanath Stupa to explore the ancient Buddhist Stupa situated in Boudhanath. Our local tour guide will explain the history of Stupa and the local culture of Buddhism. After visiting this place then probably you will drive to Monkey Temple (Sowyambunath Temple) this place has also a chance to explore the ancient Stupa and many more gods there, then after driving to Pashupatinath Temple. This temple is the holiest temple of all Hindu culture and Hindu people from all over the world come to pray for the gods here. Drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square you will go to visit this place and visit kumara House and Durbar Square; our local tour guide knows the all history of this place if you would like to know about the history of Durbar Square and Kumari House. Then our Guide will be explaining everything in the history of Nepal.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola (730m/2,395feet).

An early morning breakfast, we will start our journey along the Prithivi highway west from the Capital city of Kathmandu, through an amazing river view cross the Trishuli River, and join Dhading Besi. We will stop along the way for the Lunch break. After then we drive to continue to passing through the Arughat Bazar along with a scenic drive to following the Budi Gandaki Riverside to Arkhet and reach Soti Khola overnight at Lodge.
Day 04: Sotikhola - Machhikhola (869meters/2,851feet).

After early morning breakfast, we trek continue to following the low valley to the north, also chance to the majestic Himalayas views from the low place and take a time to picture the Himalayas and local lifestyle houses, landscape, waterfalls, etc. we passed the dense forest, Buddhi Gandaki valley, and hillside. We walk a series of ascents and descent leading to the typical small and beautiful village of Lapubesi. From this place, our trekking trails go to descending to the wide, sandy, and riverside which is a beautiful place, and reach Machha Khola overnight at Lodge.
Day 05: Machhikhola - Jagat (1310m/4,297feet).

Today will be more exciting, first, we will cross the suspension bridge and our trail leads to Kholabesi, the trekking route has a chance to explore the beautiful landscape, waterfalls, and hills. After then again crossing the suspension bridge at Kholabesi our trek will continue to join the natural hot spring at the Tatopani. From the Tatopani village, we cross the again bridge and walk through the passing the delightful village of Dovan, Thulo Dunga and trek to continue to reach Jagat Village overnight at Lodge.
Day 06: Jagat – Lokpa (2040meters/6,692feet).

Jagat Village has an entry checkpoint for Manaslu and Tsum valley by registering the special permit for the Manaslu regions. After finished we checked our permit then we trek and continue to climb over a ridge to Salleri village. We walk along the riverside and cross the Budhi Gandaki River on a long suspension bridge. Also, we trek continue to Phlim village, Ekle Bhatti. On the trekking trail, you will get separated towards Manaslu and Tsum valley, where you will see the trekking trail map on the board and hike up to Lokpa. The Tsum valley trek is one of the hidden and few trekkers go hiking in this area.
Day 07: Lokpa – Chumling (2385meters/7,824feet).

After breakfast, we start our journey to the wild route to the Tsum valley region. From the Lokpa to Chumling, if the sky is a clear day, the spectacular views of Siring Himal, Buddha Himal, and Ganesh Himal. And the trail continues to walk on the jungle side, we cross the suspension bridge then, the trail leads ascending to reach the Chumling village, this village has ancient Buddhist monastery when we reach on time we can go to explore it and back to room overnight at Lodge.
Day 08: Chumling – Chhekampar (3032meters/9,947feet).

Today will be a great day because we’ll enter the upper valley part of the inside Himalayas. Our trekking trail continues along the Syar River down to Domje and rises over 500 meters to the biggest village in the Tsum valley. An attractive village of Gho has an atypical Monastery. From there we will continue our ascending and then trek to reach Chhekampar. If the blue sky on the day you will be able to see the delightful views of Ganesh Himal and Himalchuli from this village where we will have the chance to have the hospitality of local people “Tibetan Group” welcoming with typical “Tibetan tea” and local foods. We stay at the overnight Lodge.
Day 09: Chhekampar – Nile (3362meters/11,030 feet).

Today we walk pretty shorter than on preceding days. The Nile on the western side of the Shikhar Khola takes about 15minutes to 25 minutes walk and crossing from Chhule is the last village direction north in the upper valley. As we go uphill, the valley comes lush and narrow, and we will see the popular hard work of farming. After we pass the beautiful Lamagaon, there is Pire Phu cave of Milarepa where will see that his footprint is still potted and noticeable in the rock. Pigeon cave is one of the sacred caves in the Tsum and Valley on the side of a rocky cliff mountain with beautiful views of the valley from the cave and monastery near the village of Burji. There are 2 separate monasteries attached to the stone cave.
Day 10: Nile – Mu Gompa (3700meters/ 11,026feet).

Today we will be a short walk from the Nile along the west bank of the valley close to the Tibetan border and reach easily Mu Gompa, this place is the highest point of the Tsum valley trekking, we will be hiking up through yak pastures through typical dry and arid trans-Himalayas. The Buddhist money has rows of beautiful Chortens with an amazing mountains view from tea houses. The historical Monastery associated with the dawn of Buddhism sprinted by Monks, on the lap of the Rocky Mountains is one of the ancient monasteries in the Tsum valley region.
Day 11: Mu Gompa – Rachen Gompa (3240meters/12,139feet).

We trek back down the valley through Chhule and trek continue down as Phurba, walking on the east following the bank of the Siyar Khola and Crossing flat rock covered plains following the power lines to Rachen Gompa, where we look over the old Monastery and talk to very friendly with monks about the history of the monks and Monastery.
Day 12: Rache Gompa – Gumba Lungdang (3200meters/10,498feet).

After the delicious breakfast, we start trekking to the south until a bridge crosses to the west bank and passes again through Chhekampar then below on the preceding path towards Chumling. After then we can go to explore the small Gompa on the left at Gho and back descending on a narrow trail passing the Monastery on your left and cross the wooden bridge over the Siyar Khola. Cross the bridge to Domje has a Tibetan herbal medicine clinic and school, then we will be climb steeply through pines and rhododendrons forest until the trail starts traveling at mani walls with Buddhist prayer flags. Then after we ramble on the pine and take a prayer flag noticeable ascending path and make a winding climb through vast silver pines to reach Gumba Lundgang. This small Gompa with 40 religions has intense and interesting local people called puja starts from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm every night unless the nuns are on holiday.
Day 13: Exploring day.

This day will be more exciting, after breakfast we will hike to Ganesh Himal Base Camp, we will walk in the forest wilderness and the views make it a delightful trek even though altitude gain can cause difficulty in climbing. We pass down and uphill through the hidden valley, and then take us right on muddy zigzags on a shortcut to get back to the lower trail and continue up the valley through the dense forest. After passing through the small clear territory, while we reach Base Camp we will take some nice pictures and enjoy nature then back to the same place overnight at Lodge.
Day 14: Gumba Lungdang – Lokpa (2240meters/7,349feet).

After a visit to Tsum and Hidden Valley region, we trek down Chhekampar to the monastery at Gho Continue on the narrow trekking trail through the village to cross the Shiar Khola and we head to nearby Dumje. Then trail climb ascending through ramble on pine and rhododendron forest reach to mani wall with delightful prayer flags, we passing the Gomba Lungdang, Domje and get back to Lokpa.
Day 15: Lokpa – Ghap (2385meters/7,824feet).

We trek descending through the exposed trekking route, we cross the Budi Gandaki River on a beautiful bridge then we walk on the narrow trekking trail ascending and descending when gradually climbing through the hidden valley. Crossing the river and rambling on pine, rhododendrons, and bamboo forest reach Deng, inhabited by Gurungs Villages, again cross the suspension bridge then climb uphill to Rana, and Bhimphedi. We wander in and out of the valley to cross the Serang Khola before finally we reach Ghap overnight at Lodge.
Day 16: Ghap – Lho (3180meters/10,438feet).

Today we will head to Lho village; the valley becomes steeper and long walking on through bamboo, rhododendron, and pine forest, crossing the wild river a couple of times to reach Namrung village has police checkpoint for trekker’s we will go to check our Manaslu and Nar Phu valley special permit to there and we trek continue to walking on the delightful village with the chance to see the magnificent mountain's peak Buddha Himal and Manaslu and reach to Lho village overnight at Lodge.
Day 17: Lho – Sama Gaon (3525meters/11,564feet).

Today will be a shorter and more exciting day, we follow the bank of the river with views of many more peaks ahead. For a couple of hours, we will climb uphill through the forest bringing us to the village of Shyala, offering the Delightful views of Phungi, Manaslu, Buddha Himal, and much more, the village is really beautiful and we trek continue to walk on the flat and reach to Sama Gaon overnight at Lodge.
Day 18: Rest Day at Sama Gaon (Exploring day).

After early morning breakfast, we will hike up to Manaslu Base Camp, 1st we walking in the pine forest to reach the Birendra Lake, which is one of the most beautiful and we can spend a few hours there, we will take a picture, after then we trek continue to ascending to Manaslu Base Camp it takes around ¾ hours to climb uphill. When we reach Base Camp we will enjoy nature and take a picture with white snow-capped mountains, we will spend a few hours there and we trek back down to Sama Gaon Overnight at Lodge.
Day 19: Sama Gaon – Dharam Shala (4460meters/14,632feet).

We’ll start early in the morning to head towards Samdo Village, which takes around 2 hours from Sama Gaon, after then we trek and continue to cross the wooden bridge over the Budi Gandaki and ascend gradually up the valley. Another Buddhist mani wall marks the beginning of the ascent to the pass and crosses two streams and witnesses the Larke la Glacier. We trek continue to ascend and reach Dharamshala overnight at Lodge.
Day 20: Dharamshala – Cross the Larkya La Pass (5,106meters) – Bimtang Village.

Today we will start very early in the morning. We will walk slowly gradually uphill to Larkya La Pass (5,106meters/16,751feet) from the sea level, from the Dharamshala to Larke la top it will take around 4/5 hours. From the top, of the blue sky then we will be able to see the magical panoramic mountains view of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Samdo Peak, Larkya La Peak, Kanguru, and Annapurna II on the possibility. We will spend a few hours on the top to enjoy and take the Group Picture with the board of Larke la pass and beautiful mountains, then after we trek descending to reach the Bimtang village, overnight at Lodge.
Day 21: Bimtang – Gho (2536meters/8,320feet).

We will walk downhill through the riverside. Along the way we will see the amazing view of mountains and ramble on the pine and rhododendron forest it will be more interesting while we on the jungle, and we can see the wild animals of Monkeys, and musk deer, leopard, jackal, mountains goats and much more. We will stop for the lunch break at the Surki Khola after then we trek continue downhill to reach the Gho village overnight at Lodge.
Day 22: Gho – Tal Village (1700meters/5,577feet).

Our trek route continues to descend with a beautiful view of landscape, waterfalls, and hills and passing through the delightful village of Tilje, Dharapani. We cross the suspension bridge and downhill to reach the Tal village overnight at the lodge.
Day 23: Tal – Besishar (815meters) – Kathmandu.
After breakfast, we leave Tal from Besishar by local jeep or Bus. It will take around 4/5 hours drive, we passing the beautiful Marshyandi rive and the place of Chamje, Jagat, Shyange, Bhulbule, Khudi and reach to Besishar. If we reach the Besishar before 4:00 pm then we will catch the micro or bus to Kathmandu. On the journey to Kathmandu, the road follows along the scenic Marsyangdi River valley and then meets the Trishuli River as we head west along the Prithivi Highway. During the drive, we will have good views of lush scenery and terraced farmland.
