Langtang Valley is a region in the north-central Himalayas of the Bagmati Province of Nepal. Situated 51 km north of Kathmandu, the main area is well-known for hosting the Langtang National Park, which finally constitutes the border with the Tibet autonomous region of China, Which has opened for national and international trekkers as a sacred area tourism destination, one of the 7200 meters highest mountains lies in the region called Langtang Lirung.
As well as we would like to explain some trekking information about the Langtang Valley trek TIMS and Permit Cost. TIMS and permit are most important for Langtang region treks, without a TIMS Card and Permit you cannot enter the Langtang National Park.
Every traveler/trekker needs to entry permit and TIMS Card, to explore the Langtang Valley, which is conserved under Langtang National Park, and the Government of Nepal has ensured to have a Permit before trailing in that region.
Langtang valley region trekking is the high elevations mountains land and travels around the wide ranges of flora and fauna, unique Tibetan culture and Tamang, ancient Buddhist monastery and delightful landscape, massive Himalayan Glaciers, Icefalls, and glacial lake and all Himalayas views.
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1462 meters / 4796 feet).
Day 02: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2450m / 8038 feet)
Day 03: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3560m / 11679 ft)
Day 04: Trek from Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m / 12696 ft)
Day 05: Exploration day at Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 06: Kyanjin Gompa – Lama Hotel (2450m / 8038 ft).
Day 07: Lama Hotel - Syabrubesi (1462 meters / 4796 feet).
Day 08: Drive back to Kathmandu.
To Trek the Langtang Valley region, you need to buy two types of permits for each trekker, as well as including to explore the Tamang Heritage Trail Trek, Tamang Heritage Trail & Langtang Valley Trek, Langtang Valley, Gosaikunda Lake Trekking. If you join us, we will arrange all necessary TIM cards and Permits for the Langtang region trek.
TIMS Card (Trekkers Information Management System Card is also required for Langtang region trekking. This TIMS card will be available in the Nepal Tourism Board or if you join us, we will manage all necessary paperwork for Langtang National Park.
