The “Ruby Valley Ganesh Kunda Lake Trek” is one of the latest trekking routes that provide a beautiful local cultural and natural variation from the entreating of the trip to the last part. This trek starts from Dundure khola with a picturesque drive by local jeep from Capital city of Kathmandu as the itinerary takes you to the passes delightful Villages of Lamo Ghar, Jharlang, Ukhum, Borang and reach to Lapa and you may explore the typical Houses, ancient Buddhist Monastery and Christian Church as well.

The next day From Lapa you will trek towards khading which is the largest Gurung Village of the Ruby Valley municipality. This Village offers an exceptional local traditional culture of the Gurung Community, as well as the beautiful view of nature.

After visit to Khading village, we trek continue to Pola KharkaMichet Kharka and reach to final destination of Ganesh Kunda Lake. For the 3 to 4 days, after passed to Khading village, we will do camping trek, because there are no tea House or Home Stay, along the journey. This trip route has newly been launched to promote the eco tourism and diverse local culture and nature of the off-beaten trek.

The “Ruby Valley Ganesh Kunda Lake trek” starts from capital city of Kathmandu with scenic drive to Dharkha Phedi, which takes around 7/8 hours.  The trek starts from Dharkha Phedi through the enthralling villages of Tamang and Gurung Communities with the awe-inspiring views of the mountains scenery.

However this trek, we do halfway for Home stay and half trek is camping. The camping trek will start from the after visited to village of Khading. The camping trek can be for 3 to 4 days. March – April – May (Spring Season):
