Restricted Trekking route in Nepal

The Manaslu region is a lovely restricted trekking route in Nepal. It includes the enthralling Chum Valley and spectacular Manaslu Base Camp and crosses the Manaslu Larke La Pass 5,106 m with local cultures of the Himalayas.   • Special Manaslu Restricted Area Permit

 

This permit must be organized by a Nepal government-registered trekking company. It is required to enter the Manaslu region. 

 

  • MCAP (Manaslu Conservation Area Project) permit

 

The trekking to the Manaslu Circuit mostly takes place under the MCAP (Manaslu Conservation Area Project) permit, which is required.

 

  • ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) permit

 

Your Manaslu trek ends at the Annapurna Region of Dharapani. Therefore, you must obtain the ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) Permit. The company will buy it.

 

  • Tsum Nurbi Rural Municipality Entrance Fee

 

The Tsum Nurbi Rural Municipality has decided on the entrance fees from last autumn season. The entry fee is 100 NPR per person. Your guide will obtain the permits at Jagat Village.

Some Alternative Trek Routes around the Manaslu Region of Nepal

There are several trekking routes that you want to go and explore. The main activity is for pleasure. However, you can encompass your trek by adding 2 to 3 days. By doing so, you can make this trek even more sustainable. Tsum Valley via Manaslu circuit, Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek, and the most famous Annapurna Circuit Trek.

When is the ideal time to trek to the Manaslu Circuit 14 Days Trek?

Typically, the autumn and spring seasons are an ideal time to trek to the Manaslu region. The weather will be clear and reasonable in these seasons. From SeptemberOctober, and November, the weather is generally clear, and more vegetation with no dust. The breathtaking scenarios are remarkable, with the weather in mid-November.

 

The spring season is in the middle of autumn. Day 06: Trek from Deng Village – Namrung Village (2635 meters/8,645 feet) 7 Hours Walking.

Day 08:  Acclimatization day in Sama Gaon (Hiking to Manaslu Base Camp or Pungen Gompa).
Day 09: Trek from Sama Gaon to Samdo Village (3875 meters/12,713 feet), ¾ Hours Walking.
Day 10: Trek from Samdo to Dharamshala (4460 meters/14,632 feet) 5/6 Hours walking.

Day 12: Trek from Bimtang village to Tilche, 4/5 Hours Walking.
Day 13: Trek from Tilche to Tal Village, 5/6 Hours Walking.
Day 14: Drive to Besishar and again take a bus to Kathmandu.
