Trip Itinerary

An early morning breakfast, we will start our journey with along the Prithivi highway west from Capital city of Kathmandu, through an amazing river view cross the trishuli River and join to Dhading Besi. We will stop along on the way for Lunch break. After then we drive continue to passing through the Arughat Bazzar along with scenic drive to  following the Budi Gandaki River side to Arkhet and reach to Soti khola overnight at Lodge.

After an early morning breakfast, we trek continue to following the low valley to the north, also chance to the majestic Himalayas views from the low place and take a time to picture of the Himalayas and local lifestyle houses, landscape, waterfalls etc. we passing the dense forest, Buddhi Gandaki valley,  and hillside. We walk a series of ascent and descent leads to the typical small and beautiful village of Lapubesi. From this place our trekking trails goes to descending to the wide, sandy and river side which is the beautiful place and reach to Machha Khola overnight at Lodge.

Today will be more an exciting, first we will cross the suspension bridge and our trail leads to Kholabesi, the trekking route has chance to explore the beautiful landscape, waterfalls, and hills. After then again crossing the suspension bridge at kholabesi our trek will be continue to join the natural hot spring at the Tatopani. From the Tatopani village we cross the again bridge and walking through the passing the delightful village of Dovan, thulo Dunga and trek continue to reach Jagat Village, where we will check the Manaslu permit there, after we trek continue to passing the salleri village, we walk along the river side and cross the Budhi Gandaki River on a long suspension bridge, also trek continue to Philim Village, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

After the delicious breakfast, then we trek continue to Ekle Bhatti, The trekking trail you will get separated towards to manaslu and tsum valley, where you will see the trekking trail map on the board and hike up to left side, we will cross the then trek continue to passes the Nayak Phedi, we leads to the dense forest of Bamboo, rhododendron and pine forests, where we can see the wildlife animals likes; Musk deer, Himalayan Thars, white and Brown monkeys on near the trekking trail, after then we trek continue to passing the Pewa, Deng, Rana Village, and reach to Bhimphedi, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

Today we will head to Namrung village; we will pass the delightful of the Ghap and we will trek valley becomes steeper and long walking on through bamboo, rhododendron and pine forest, crossing the wild river a couple of times to reach to Namrung village has police check point for trekker’s we will go to check our manaslu and Nar phu valley special permit to there and we will stay overnight at Lodge.

Today will be an exciting day, we will pass the beautiful village of Lihi, Lho, and we follow the bank of the river with views of many more peaks ahead. A couple of hours we will climb uphill through the forest brings us to the village of shyala, offering the Delightful views of Phungi, Manaslu, and Buddha Himal and much more, the village are really beautiful and we trek continue to walking on the flat and reach to sama Gaun , we will stay overnight at Lodge.

After an early morning breakfast, we will hike up to Manaslu Base Camp, 1st we walking on the pine forest to reach the Birendra Lake, is one of the beautiful and we can spend few hours on there, we will take a picture, after then we hiking continue to ascending to Manaslu Base Camp it takes around ¾ hours to climb uphill. When we reach to Base Camp we will do really enjoy with nature and taking picture with white snow-capped mountains, we will spend few hours on there and we trek back down to Sama Gaon, we will stay Overnight at Lodge.

We’ll star an early in the morning to head towards Samdo Village, which is takes around 2 hours from Sama Gaon, after then we trek continue to cross the wooden bridge over the Budi Ghandaki and ascending gradually up the valley. Another Buddhist mani walls marks the beginning of the ascent to the pass and cross two streams and witness the larke la Glacier. We trek continue to ascending and reach to Dharamshala overnight at Lodge.

Today we will star very early in the morning. We will walk slowly gradual uphill to Larkya La Pass (5,106meters/16,751feet) from the sea level, from the dharamshala to Larke la top it will be takes around 4/5 hours. From the top if the blue sky then we will be able to see the magical panoramic mountains view of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Samdo Peak, Larkya La Peak, Kanguru and Annapurna II on the possibility. We will be spend few hours on the top for enjoy and take the Group Picture with board of Larke la pass and beautiful mountains, then after we trek descending to reach the Bimtang village, overnight at Lodge.

We will walk down hill through the river side. Along the way we will see the an amazing  view of mountains and ramble on the pine and rhododendron forest it will be more interesting while we on the jungle, and we can see the wild animals of Monkeys, musk deer, leopard, jackal, mountains goats and much more. We will stop for lunch break at the Surki Khola after then we trek continue to downhill to reach the Gho village and trek descending to Dharapani Village, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

After the breakfast, we leave Dharapani from Besishar by local jeep or Bus. It will takes arounds 4/5 hours drive, we passing the beautiful marshyandi rive and the place of Chamje, Jagat, Shyange, Bhulbule, Khudi and reach to Besishar. If we reach the besishar on before the 4:00 pm then we will catch the micro or bus to Kathmandu. On the journey to Kathmandu, the road follows along the scenic Marsyangdi River valley and then meets the Trishuli River as we leads west along the Prithivi Highway. During the drive we will have good views of lush scenery and terraced farmland.

BEST TIME TO DO MANASLU CIRCUIT TREK:

March – April – May (Spring Season):

This is the best time to do Manaslu Circuit Trek. The weather is very good through the trek. Spectacular views of the Mt. Manaslu, Shiringi Himal, Buddha Himal, Samdo Peak, Larkya La Peak, Annapurna range and many smaller white snow-capped mountains etc.

The temperatures will be increasing from the middle of March and with blue skies, white-snow capped will be seen at their occasion. So many Travelers often succeed their climber in this time. On the way trip, the Nepalese National flowers will be blossom likes; red, white and pink colors with luscious green and dense forest.

June – July – August (Summer/Monsoon Season):

If you would like to do Manaslu Circuit Trek in between June to August, it is summer/Monsoon Season. Summer Season Falls in the Month end of June to till August. This time is the hottest and rainfalls with a variety of vegetation blossom during this season, the Valley will be green and totally different view than spring and Autumn Season. While you are going to travel, Summer Season you have to be more careful with trekking trails, it might be Muddy and Slippery. It will be regularly rains and hottest during this season.

About the temperature during the days 15 to 25°C, will be gets colder nights and morning times, Temperature will be less than 8°C, and must of the morning time will be see blue sky with white snow-capped Mountains.

 September – October – November (Autumn Season):

Another best time to do for the Manaslu Circuit Trek. This season is the peak of trekkers due to the good weather conditions. As monsoon season slowly ends, a best trekking climate sets itself. The temperature will be goes up to 15 degrees in the day time and, during the night time will be down to 3 to 5 degrees. This time is while travelers relaxing with naturally views and culturally. It is highly recommended as its best time to go for Manaslu Circuit Trek.

December – January – February (Winter Season):

The winter season trek to Manaslu Circuit Trek are famous season as the March – April – May to September – October – November. The places along the Manaslu Circuit Trek will be cold during the winter season but at that time will be an amazing trip. The temperature of Manaslu Circuit Trek can be around as low as -10°C which tempts travelers to visit this region. It might snow falls and the Ground will be snow on the trails.

The Coldest time Starts from December to till early February, after overdue February, Climate will be slowly gets warmer temperatures to get cold dropping to -2°C to - 5°C at high altitude. While the sun come up, day time gets warms and blue sky with stunning all Himalayas views.

Accommodations during the Manaslu Circuit Trek:

The accommodations during the trip, all accommodations are on the basic twin and sharing. Our local trekking guide team leader will be managing beautiful common room. If the possible he will try to manage the best room with attached bathrooms. About the attached bathrooms it’s very difficult to get in the Himalayas regions, most of the mountains area they have just common room and we must to share the toilet and bathroom with others clients.  The single rooms are available in the lower altitude Himalayas regions. But it is not possible to get single room in the higher elevations; you must to share with others peoples.

Meals:

As we as during the Manaslu Circuit Trek, all kinds of meals will be provided in the Manaslu region, you can take pleasure in Nepalese traditional foods likes: Nepali Dal Bhat and many typical foods are available on the this region. Also they have special menus; you can choose the many different kinds of European, Italian, Chinese and Indians foods are available on the during the journey.  

Breakfast:

You can choose by menu of your breakfast: options such as French toast with (jam, Honey and Butter), muesli, Oatmeal, Corn Flakes, cereal, hash browns, any style of eggs you would like, Gurung Bread, Tibetan Bread with (jam, honey and Pea abutter), pancake, puffy, and round and tsamapa porridge and chapatti with any kinds of Tea.

Lunch:

Lunch time; you will have the opportunity to specials delicious food likes:  Thukpa, vegetable Noodle soup, Chicken Noodle soup, mushroom soup, fried veg. cheese potatoes, veg eggs fried noodles, eggs. Vegetables friend macaroni, Momo (dumplings), eggs. veg fried rice, Nepali Dal Bhat set (Dal Bhat power 24 hours)  and many much more items.

Dinner:

You can choose by menu: a menu that’s similar to the options you had at lunch break time: Stews, Pizza, Thukpa, Fried Noodles, Noodle soup, macaroni, fried potatoes, friend rice, momo (dumplings), spring role, Dal Bhat set, spaghetti and many much more items etc.

Safe Drinking water:

The Manaslu region you will get normal water from the Tap or river. This water you must to use purification medicine or filtering hand pump, also you get boiled and bottle of water are available at lodges. While you hiking in the mountains regions, you should drink normally 4 to 5 liters of per day.

Travel insurance for Manaslu Circuit Trek:

  • Do not drink alcoholic beverages in the high an elevation
  • Keep yourself hydrated
  • Do the Acclimatize low altitude to high altitude and back to sleep on the low altitude.
  • Do not achieve more than 500 meters in a day
  • Do not walk very fast in the high altitude.
  • Walk a slowly on the high elevations and keep walking.
  • Do not walk alone on the way.
  • Inform your guide as soon as if got any high altitude sickness.
  • Drink very much boiled water and hot tea.
  • Take a garlic soup and Ginger tea; it is high altitude sickness medicine
