Chitra from Himalayan Local Guide provided outstanding organisation for our Manaslu Circuit trek. They went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was successful and enjoyable, even replacing our guide at extremely short notice as they were feeling ill before the trek started. We had an amazing experience on the Manaslu circuit. The guides and porters were brilliant and very helpful throughout.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone and hope to use them again in the future.

Everything was perfect. The organisation was great, permits were all sorted for us. Accommodation, food and travel to the trailhead were all done for us. Chitra was really helpful with everything.

They picked us up from the airport and took us to our hostel and then back from our hostel to the airport at the end. They got us T-shirts and welcome presents which was really thoughtful.

The guide Kuul was amazing, he tailored our walk a bit to make it a bit easier having 2 smaller days instead of a rest day and a big day, what helped massively. The porters were great and really kind. We all got on really well and they made an amazing effort to make sure we enjoyed. After some of the days they’d take us round the villages and show us stuff in the area what was nice.

Food was great, accommodation was great, we did the manaslu circuit what’s not as busy as some of the other treks. Everything was perfect and I’d definitely go through them again.

Definitely recommend anyone to book a hike through them. Take into mind rest days and the size of days is all I’d say. We did the hike in 9 days but taking longer would’ve been a bit better but that was down to our decision.

Thank you:)

We did the manaslu circuit trek in 12 days and our experience was great from the beginning! Chitra was very helpful and approachable while organizing the trek (plan, permits, etc).

Afterwards our guide, Arpan Gurung, was really focused on our wellbeing. He was very flexible and we had a great time with him. His insights on the life in the himlayas, also from a perosnal perspective, were really interesting.

We can absolutely recommend booking a tour with this really trustworthy and honest agency.

If you are looking for a really good service, with a local touch and a good price, go with Himalayan Local Guide.

Ребята организовывали нам трек вокруг Манаслу. Все четко и профессионально. Гид Upendra нам очень понравился, давал быть достаточно самостоятельными и в тоже время был всегда рядом, когда это было нужно. Все супер, рекомендую!!

We spent an amazing 13 days doing the Manaslu Circuit trek with Bashanta and Himalayan Local Guide.

Everything was taken care of so well - from WhatsApp communication in the lead up to the trip through to food, accommodation, safety and excellent guiding throughout. We are not experienced hikers, but were able to thoroughly enjoy the trek - including breathtaking scenery, beautiful villages and invigorating walks.

I can’t recommend this company highly enough. I also think that their pricing is very good.
