We start our trek, from Lukla and pass the delightful villages of Churi Kharka, Thado Koshi, and Phading village, through the Sherpa typical village and farmland will be our first move there. The next day will start with a crosses-long suspension bridge and beautiful views of the flowing white river then; we’ll be climbing uphill to reach the Namche Bazaar (3,445m).

 

The next day we will hike up to Everest View Point of Everest hotel and if the blue sky we will be able to see, Mt. Everest and many other mountains we spend a few hours there and we will visit Khumjung village. This village is a beautiful and colorful village we visit along the Edmund Hillary School and Buddhist Monastery and we back down to Namche Bazaar overnight at the same place.

 

We will walk and trek the trail of passes delightful villages like; Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep and finally reach your destination – Everest Base Camp 5,364m and explore the E.B.C and back to Gorakshep village.

 

The next day morning if the skies are blue we’ll hike to the Viewpoint of Kala Pathar (5,550m), we’ll be able to see the very close mountain views like; Pumari, Lhotse, Nuptse, Mt. Everest (8,848m), Ama Dablam, and many more mountains with glancing lateral moraine of the Khumbu icefall.

Our company staff will come to pick up you at Tribhuvan international airport, our guide will be stand up your name on with paper it will be easy to know each other,  at the airport terminal gate. He will take you at your hotel by car or van depends on the group size.

Early morning flight to Lukla (2810m/9219feet) which is takes around 30 minute fly form Kathmandu to Lukla is main junctions of trekker’s where we meet the rest of our team in Lukla and start our trekking form there. We walk along the on the way passes through the delightful village of Cheplung village, Ghat and Phading Village (2610m/8,562feet). Overnight at Lodge.  

After the breakfast, we start our trek passes through delightful pine forest and we trek continue walk on the trail goes to north up the Benkar. We cross the suspension bridge and pass Chumoa and Monjo village before reaching the entrance of the sagarmatha National Park. After then us crossing a suspension bridge again we pass the Jorsale village and walk along side of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi Rivers. We ascend on a steep trail and reach to Namche Bazzar (3441m/11,289feet). This is most likely the biggest town in the Khumbu region. Overnight at Lodge.

After the breakfast, we hike to Everest View Hotel, first part we ascend on a steep trail and reach to Everest Hotel, from there if the blue sky we will be able to see the delightful mountains views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhoste, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusumkangaru and many more mountains view etc. then after we go to explore the Khumjung Village, this village one of the beautiful colorful rooftop houses and we explore the sir Edmund Hillary school, while finished it we back down to Namche Bazzar and Overnight at Lode. 

 

From Namche Bazzae, we ascend on steep trail after then, the trek until phunki is an easy walk. From there we ascend towards tengboche village, which is one of the famous Tengboche monasteries because of the biggest monastery of the Khumbu region. It is located within the sagarmatha National park, which is a UNESCO world Heritage Site. The beautiful Monastery with an amazing panoramic view of the mountains including; Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Thamserku. Monastery will be opens around at 4:00 pm; if we reach there on time we can go to see the Buddhist religions ceremony. Overnight at Tengboche. 

From the Tengboche Monastery village, our trail descends and passes through lush pine and rhododendron forest, when trekking we can think highly of good views of Top of the world’s highest Mt. Everest, Lhoste and Ama Dablam. We trek continue to Pangbuche, somare and reach to Dingbuche Village. Overnight at Lodge.

 

After the beautiful breakfast, the second acclimatization day is taking on Dingbuche, beside the acclimatization day we also climb a few hundred meters to the top of Nagarjun which is need to be claimed to check you health conditions and strength before we continue to the EBC. The short acclimatization to Nagarjun it will make very helpful to your physical fitness. It’s quite steep and rocky track but the views becomes much more delightful.

After the breakfast, we start our journey. The day with a grdual climb to Thukla then our trail goes to quite steep climb up to the ridge at the top of chukpo Lari where we can find out the line of memorials in tribute to the climbers who have died on Mt. Everest expeditions since starting. After then our trail goes to short gradual up walk brings us to Labuche. Overnight at Lodge.

 

Today is more exciting and hard day. From Labuche the trail leads flat meadow for when following the Khumbu Glacier and shot climbing up. After then the trail goes to into the lateral moraine of khumbu Glacier to Gorakshep. The trail offers a beautiful view of the massive Khumbu Glacier and Trans Himalayas. While we reach to Gorakshep we take off the bag pack at the hotel and we can have some Lunch Break after then we will go to hike the Everest Base Camp. It take around go and back 4/5 Hours and back to Gorakshep overnight at Lodge.

Wake up early morning, after then we hike to kalapathar for sunrise and mountains view. We have to climb up hill it take around 2 hours and if the good weather we will be able to see the beautiful sunrise views with all panoramic Himalayas view from kalapather, when we enjoy with nature then we back down to same hotel we can have breakfast we trek continue to downhill pheriche. Overnight at Lodge.

Our trail leads descending passes through the beautiful local sherpa villages and we following the bank into Dudh Kosi River then after Somare, Pangbuche, Dingbuche and reach to Namche Bazzar. Overnight at Lodge.

The trail descending the steep section back to the same way as we crossed Jorsalle, Manjo, Benkar, Phakding some of the small villages of the way reach to Lukla overnight at Lodge.

 

Early Morning we will have breakfast, after then we will take flight from Lukla to kathmandu, overnight at your Hotel.

after you enjoyed your journy then back to Home County.

Yes, must take a sleeping bag during the trek; it is difficult to get a blanket on the lodges because so many Guides and porters do not have blankets.

Useful Information

Best season:

The best time to visit the EBC trek is from (September to November) and (March to May) spring season is the best time of the year for EBC trekking. The weather conditions tend to remain stable with best observations but, nights are cold and can drop down to chilly in high elevations.

During the winter (December to February), if you want to touch the snow during the trek, the winter season can also be favorable for the EBC trek. The main issue is only cold and snowfalls. You must prepare the trekking essential gear.

During the summer (June to August), trekking in the Everest region is highly affected by the rainy season, However, it could be a glory for keen botanists. There will be a high risk due to landslides and floods in the Everest area.

How to get a Nepal Visa?

If you are planning to come to Nepal and want to visit the EBC trek, you must obtain a visa; you will get a visa on arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. The tourist visa fee cost is below:

15 Days – 30 U$D.

30 Days – 50 U$D.

90 Days – 125 U$D.

How do I get the trekking permits?

The company will arrange all necessary Pasang Lhamu community fees and Sagarmatha National Park permits. For the Everest region, trekking requires two types of Permit

  • The Sagarmatha National Park Permit fee cost 30 USD.
  • Pasang Lhamu Community Fee cost 20 USD.

Lukla Flight:

During the peak season, the Lukla flight will divert from the Ramechhap airport to Lukla and Lukla to Ramechhap in the peak season (October to November and mid-March to April).

Various airline companies are operating daily flights to Lukla like; Tara Air, Sita Air, and Goma Air. The flights start at 6:15 am and end at 3:00 Pm. The flight to Lukla has a high chance of being delayed or canceled due to bad weather conditions,  It might happen during the peak season, in case if your flight is canceled, there are alternative ways to take a helicopter. A helicopter will carry 4 to 5 people, it costs 450 U$D to 550 U$D for each person sharing the aircraft.

Weight Limited:

The Lukla flight is weight-limited; you can take big luggage a maximum of 10kg. For the hand-carry luggage between 5 to 7 Kg.

Tea House and Lodge accommodations during the trek:

During the trekking route, you will get the basic accommodation lodge-to-lodge, and the guide will arrange the tea houses along the journey, A room like a small cozy with a room 2 or 3 beds, a mattress, blankets, pillows, as well, you get the sharing washroom and toilet bathroom. If the possibilities are some places you will get the attachment bathroom.  

Foods in Everest region Trekking:

If you want to take a full board package trip, we will provide you with the main course (Lunch, Dinner, and Breakfast) during the trekking route. The guide will provide you with a menu and you can choose any food items you like. There are several meal options for Dinner and Lunch time: Nepali Dal Bhat, Spaghetti, Macaroni, chowmin, fried Noodles, MO: MO, Vegetable soup, and Pizza.
